Reservation & Cancellation Policy Guided Tours & Rentals

Northern Extremes requires a $25 per snowmobile advance deposit to hold all snowmobile reservations. This $25 deposit is fully refundable with a 72 hour cancellation notice. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours one would forfeit deposit amount. In the event of adverse weather or snow conditions deposit will be refunded. Adverse weather includes: no snow, temperatures below zero, rain and snowstorms. We want everyone to enjoy there snowmobile adventure.

INDIVIDUAL MUST ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED TOUR TIME!

Book 4 snowmobiles and have a private guide.

Guided Tours

Come discover the White Mountains with Northern Extremes. We offer guided snowmobile tour which are excellent for the first time snowmobiler. Our experienced guides will take you on a unforgettable tour through the white mountains and the long fields of Maine. We will take you to the best snow conditions and lesser traveled trails. Guided tours our recommended for the first time snowmobiler.

No credit card needed and no security deposit.
Northern Extremes is the only company that does not require a credit card for a guided tour for damage deposits.

We offer tours ranging from a quick one-hour jaunt to a three-hour cruise through the New Hampshire backwoods. The tour times are the actual time you are out on the trail.

NOTE: We ask all riders to arrive 30 minutes before reservations for snowmobile orientation and registration. Reservations are strongly recommended. We limit the number of riders to 4-5 per guide to keep the group moving. Please see the list of tour rules below.
*$10 surcharge for Saturdays and vacation weeks.

1 hour tours

2 hour tours

Our two hour cruise cover 20-30 miles of diverse terrain. This tour will wind through the New Hampshire countryside offering panoramic views of Mt Washington and Fryeburg, Maine. Did we mention we'll stop and play in the open fields?

Gilligan's 3 hour tour

Our most exciting tour covers 35-60 miles taking you to some of the finest riding in the State. This tour takes you through miles of wide open fields into the deep New Hampshire woods offering spectacular views of Mt Washington and beyond. Don’t worry we won’t leave you deserted on a remote Island!

SPECIAL TOURS

Above the Notches Full Day Tour 8:30-5:30

This tour is one of a kind. Start at our North Conway base and head over Evan's Notch to Gorham for Lunch. After lunch we will head over Jefferson Notch to Twin Mountain. This 110 mile trip will end at the Mt Washington Hotel where a van will return you to North Conway. Tour literally goes around Mt Washington. Ride features long straight aways, open fields and mt climbs! Tour includes lunch, gas and snowmobile.

Tour Rules

Guided tours include: snowmobile, full face helmet, gas and guide. Drivers are responsible for any damages to snowmobile while on tour. Each driver of a snowmobile must be 18 years of age with a valid drivers license. Teenagers 16-18 can operate a single snowmobile if accompanied by legal guardian.
